Signing of MoU between Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India and Consumer Unity and Trust Society for the Project ConsumersUp Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Manoj Parida, Joint Secretary of Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India and George Cheriyan, Director CUTS in the presence of S K Nag, Director (CWF), DoCA and Prema Bhatt from the Department and Amarjeet Singh, Project Coordinator CUTS on November 04, 2011 to implement a year project to take the Indian consumer movement forward with an objective to create an enabling environment for protection and promotion of consumer interest contributing towards the national interest.
